As a Blockchain Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure. Responsibilities Develop, deploy, and maintain smart contracts for NFT (ERC-721/1155), ERC-20 tokens, and marketplace logic. Implement on-chain ownership transfers, escrow mechanisms, and fractional ownership models. Apply industry best practices to ensure contract security, Gas efficiency, and upgradability. Integrate smart contracts with backend APIs and frontend applications to ensure a seamless user experience. Collaborate with product and design teams to design tokenomics, marketplace rules, and NFT utility functions. Monitor on-chain interactions to identify anomalies, optimize performance, and maintain system integrity. Write and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and testing frameworks related to blockchain. Provide technical leadership and guidance regarding blockchain architecture and design decisions. Requirements 10+ years of professional software development experience with a solid foundation in backend or full-stack development. 4+ years of hands-on blockchain development experience, with a track record of launching production-grade smart contracts. Proficiency in Solidity and EVM-based smart contract development. Deep understanding of ERC-20 and ERC-721 standards, as well as NFT marketplace architecture. Proficiency with Hardhat, Truffle, or Foundry for contract development, testing, and deployment. Practical experience deploying contracts to Ethereum Mainnet and/or Layer-2 networks. Familiarity with cryptocurrency payments, escrow contracts, and on-chain/off-chain data integration. Deep understanding of smart contract security best practices, including auditing, threat modeling, and vulnerability protection. Ability to design highly scalable, maintainable, and upgradable blockchain systems. Bonus Points Experience developing NFT marketplaces, DeFi platforms, or fractionalized asset platforms. Familiarity with multi-chain architectures, cross-chain bridges, or Layer-2 scaling solutions. Experience in blockchain data analysis, transaction monitoring, or advanced Gas optimization. Contributions to open-source blockchain projects or a portfolio of deployed smart contracts. Experience in technical mentoring, engineer leadership, or acting as a Tech Lead.
